Movie Info

The daughter of Signor Carloni (Aldo Fabrizi) is about to take her first communion (hence this film's title). A problem arises when the dressmaker spends too much time working on the girl's communion frock. Carloni feverishly rushes to the dress shop, only to find that the dress has somehow disappeared. When this problem is solved (and it isn't easy), the poor man is confronted with several unforeseen delays as he makes his way back to church. A delightfully naturalistic comedy, Prima Coummunione's biggest laughs are founded on universal truths; everyone knows someone like Signor Carloni, his family, and his friends.
