Movie Info

A film production office coordinator and her faithful assistant attempt to thwart a series of disasters threatening to sink their latest production in this satirical tale of a film shoot where nothing goes right. As the cameras start to roll on a cheap sci-fi flick, the crew quickly discovers that Murphy's Law is no myth: props have gone missing, the star of the film is nowhere to be found, egos clash, and there are even whispers of sexual misconduct. Back at headquarters, Production Office Coordinator Jane and her assistant Justy are faced with the thankless task of contending with some particularly sticky politics. As Jane's personal interests begin to clash with her professional ambitions, she and Justy do their best to break-up the tension and maintain solidarity by trading some bawdy jokes and conveying their frustrations in the most colorful terms they can come up with. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Critic Reviews for Production Office

  • There's lots of naughty fun in Production Office, and the behind-the-scenes banter certainly rings true. But the premise that Jane is so hard-wired to her career that she stands up her daughter for a movie date feels forced.

  • n the end, however, Production Office feels too slender to be called a feature film -- it's like a terrific 15-minute comedy routine that somehow got stretched to the 90-minute mark.
