The Argentine/French movie portrays movement of a 50-years-old housewife's mind. She handles domestic duties perfectly but feels something is missing and tries to fill in the missing piece. María performs the housewife nicely with Gabriel and supporting actors playing her families who are not aware of her empty feeling.

Interesting movie about a house wife that discovers a new skill when she is already middle age and the changes that it would bring to her life.

Great performance by María Onetto and interesting story by Natalia Smirmoff.

A quiet little film, Puzzle marks the change in a 50 year old housewife who, after decades of being taken for granted by male chauvinist husband and two sons, finally and with quiet courage starts to stand up for herself when she discovers her uncanny ability to solve puzzles. Whether she will go all the way in her transformation and break with her old life entirely, or settle for a more modest change is the meat of this very interesting Argentinian movie.

Good story if you're OK with slice of life instead of Hollywood cookie cutter ending.

Charming, delightful and bittersweet. Love the ending...but won't spoil it for you. The older we get, the more it takes baby steps as opposed to huge leaps to change a routine & way of life. This movie is full of hope...you never certain what Maria's future will bring...even if it takes a long long time to get there. All you know is, it won't be the same as her past.

This is kinda realistic style movie. I find it rather unusual.

Slow-paced movie about a woman's relationship with her family, and how she started to pursue an interest of her own and sometimes put herself first. But the main character remained mostly a mystery, so I never felt drawn in.

I found this to be a mildly interesting story about a woman who deals with the subject of her own aging by means of an all-consuming interest in a new hobby. It isn't really the hobby itself that is important to the story as much as what her response to the hobby says about her relationship with her family, which is mostly positive and loving but still clearly missing something. It's a pretty slow paced movie, and we never really learn much about the man she teams up with in her new hobby, but the main character is sympathetic enough to hold some interest.
