Movie Info

In this film, Christian de Bresson plays the son of East German minister Michael Gwynn. The communist regime has decreed that all children of "dissidents" will be denied entry in a prestigious music conservatory. Anxious to be admitted, young de Bresson considers accepting an invitation to join the Communist Party.

Obvious propaganda. The story has enough dramatic content in and of itself but is reduced to stereotypes and a "goodversus evil" mentality.
