A vegetarian cowboy is killed while protecting a peaceful Indian town overrun by malevolent meat eaters, only to get a second shot at defeating his nemesis when he's reincarnated in the 21st Century in this spoof Tamil western based on the cult Indian television character of the title. It was the late 1800s when Rice Plate Reddy and his gang of meat-eating bandits first attempted to force their wicked ways on a town of peaceful South Indian vegetarians. But just as all hope seemed lost, heroic cowboy Quick Gun Murugan triumphantly appeared to flush the bad guys out. Unfortunately for Murugan, Reddy was just waiting for the perfect moment to strike, and guns the hero down at the last second. Flash forward to the 21st Century, where Murugan has been reincarnated by the gods and given a second chance at victory. When Murugan discovers that Reddy has been reborn as a corrupt capitalist intent on pushing out the vegetarian dosa industry and taking over the world with McDosa meat dishes, he vows to defeat the tyrannical carnivore once and for all.
