The latest entry in the long-running saga is a bleak affair, but there's some fun to be had if you can make it past the stomach-churning parts.

Feels more like Stallone's hard R version of Taken than a Rambo movie, but it the third act absolutely delivers the mayhem and vengeance genre fans want.

Indeed, the majority of the mercifully short running time is spent setting up a bloodthirsty climax that fails to deliver on almost every level, leaving audiences as jaded as the hero himself.
October 2, 2019
Gross, stupid, sleazy, exploitative and almost certainly falsely titled.

What should have been a throwback to campy '80s fun ends up being one of 2019's most self-serious bores.

It is definitely the weakest in the franchise, yes, but also... shows that the old heroes never die, even if they have a broken heart. [Full review in Spanish]

[Rambo: Last Blood] was entertaining.

Sadly, Last Blood's plot is pure straight-to-video schlock...

Stallone moves like a stretch Hummer attempting a U-turn in a suburban driveway, emotes like an Easter Island statue, and speaks in a voice so impossibly deep and consistently incoherent.
