Another's teenager movie i got no problem with this movie but it's boring and like another teenager movies a shitty love story with an expected ending.
So yeah i do not recommend this movie
not worth your time. there's literally nothing you can expect from. awkward casts, awkward plot...well everything is. i quesntioned myself so hard why did i bother watching this at all after seeing the credits. idk i didn't feel anything from this film and i mean AT ALL. it's like...staring at the blank wall. 1/10 for me
Very average movie. Was unable to hold the audience.
despite its originality and morality. #realityhigh is the same formula applied in movies of the genre.
Promising plot, but disappointing. The total 180 of the Dani character was unbelievable. How could such a good person, turn into a popularity obsessed, uncaring person in the span of a week. (or who knows the time-span...it wasn't clear). They could have told the same story without making the protagonist into a mini-villian half-way through the plot. I felt bad for her, but she kind of deserved the fallout for her actions since she neglected her best friend, her job, and her forever crush boyfriend, just to be friends with someone who betrayed her friendship and was cruel to her for years. Not to mention the other flaws of the movie, like the best friend totally getting over his feelings with no explanation. and the principal aiding and abetting underage drinking??!! Come on now...it's like the writers had a good idea and then gave up.
Slow at the beginning but is overall very good. Keeps a fun modern take on high school today.
Netflix has a good one here. Hardly any language and a movie that most teenagers can relate to with a good moral. Rating it this high because of that. Definitely worth a watch.
The dangers of the social media high school lifestyle.
This movie is pretty much Mean Girls 2017 (Meme Girls?). It continually rips off better movies, squeezing and Insta or YouTube reference here and there, and, alas , millions of teenage girls with a Netflix subscription and a brain will see this glorified clickbait. It's a shame that Netflix would fund this garbage. It has some redeeming qualities, like "diversity" (albeit forced), and will only slightly entertain you for just shy of two hours. This movie only exists to waste teenage girls time. Otherwise, it's just a bleh movie in the vast Netflix ocean.
I really enjoyed this coming of age story and its throwback to the 80s high school movies I loved. It ties in the millennial angle of social media, and hats off for the diversity, would make a great series!
