Dont expect the childhood story here. Instead you'll be treated to a good werewolf movie. It had great potential, but it didn’t go as in-depth as I was hoping. I understand there’s only so much you can fit into a two-hour film, but it ended up feeling really rushed. I’d definitely recommend reading the book—you’ll see that the movie is more of a summary than a full experience. It wasn’t a bad movie at all, and the characters were portrayed just as the book described them. But the book adds a lot more depth and context. Campy throughout (Gary Oldman here is akin to Jon Voight in Anaconda) yet visually dazzling, this is a popcorn movie and I've watched it twice. Have you ever liked a "bad" movie?
