An astounding exploration of the corrupt media that has shaped today's society into a mindless behemoth that knows more about Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton than it does the C.E.O.s who have made greed into a "positive" trait.

A well-meaning but overreaching documentary that strains to make a Theory of Everything argument about power and powerlessness in America. Ultimately, it fails to convince about much of anything.

The film includes a disappointing amount of the mutual-admiration fluff that show-business types traffic in; everyone thinks everyone else is great and blah blah blah.

Music fans of all stripes should appreciate Amir Bar-Lev's entertaining documentary - and in fact, that's the very idea he's aiming for.

The process recorded by helmer Amir Bar-Lev holds attention with its peek at the widely ranging personalities, work methods and expertise demonstrated by musicians of different generations and varying experience.
