Movie Info

This fourth entry in Richard Pryor's comedy-concert film series would probably have played better as a 48-minute video. Instead, it was released as an 83-minute feature, requiring way too much padding (mostly in the form of the hecklers who bedevil Pryor all through his performance).more

A disappointment, especially since it's the last full-tilt concert film of the funniest man in history.

Lidando com uma platéia irritantemente participativa, Pryor demonstra seu domínio de palco e, através de monólogos reveladores, faz importantes comentários sociais repletos de humor. Destaque para o monólogo do junkie.

Audience Reviews for Richard Pryor Here and Now

Not as good as either of his previous comedy specials, but there is no such thing as bad Richard Pryor stand-up.

Sean Gillespie

Super Reviewer

The man was a comic great.

Barry Lappin

Super Reviewer

I enjoyed this, but it didn't interest me as much as Carlin comedy does. I always liked Pryor, but I think this show wasn't as enjoyable to meas an adult as it would have as an 18-year old I was when this was released.

Drugs, sex, and F-bombs don't captivate me. There's some funny stuff here, just not what I am clamoring for. I preferred Sunset Strip far more.
