Movie Info

Based on true events, Ring Girls is a fast paced story about five gorgeous American young women from Las Vegas who train under their mentor, Master Toddy. These five fighters take on the ultimate challenge of fighting the best female Muay Thai fighters in the world - 10,000 miles from home - in Thailand. The five American beauties give up the glitz and glory of Las Vegas and travel deep into the jungles of Thailand. It's there where they battle the elements and train to use all of their weapons: kicks, knees, elbows and fists. The story climaxes in an epic battle in the ring - a bloody, fierce fight that brings the entire country to its feet. For five warriors from Las Vegas, it's the trip of their lifetime - and the fight of their lives.

Audience Reviews for Ring Girls

½

This is worth watching for the fights, they're all real, just don't expect a movie. This fake documentary follows five sexy American Muay Thai goddesses as they train to go to Thailand and fight the "best" Muay Thai fighters in the world (who all look like twelve year old boys.) In between the fights, there's some cheese acting, an attempt for some kind of plot, and a narration by one of the girls, Gina Carano (MMA Fighter and now American Gladiator) which will at times make you cringe in embarasment for her. Still, if you're a fan of women's MMA, you'll enjoy the fight footage, which is the majority of the film.
