Nice concept but the ending was a mess.

I think they made a slasher movie and thought no one woud see it so they whipped in some stuff about Jack the Ripper.

Amazing. You'll never be able to guess who the killer is. This psychological thriller is astounding; you can hardly find any better.

I love AJ Cook, but this movie was mediocre.

Pretty good movie actually. It was weird seeing A.J. Cook all grunged up but she played the role well.

Routine independent slasher. It's a reasonable attempt but light on shocks, gore or scares. Bruce Payne and Jurgen Prochnow make appearences though which was cool, they're always good value... unfortunately their acting talent didn't rub off on Kelly Brook who thankfully gets dispatched early on.

This B-movie-ish horror wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be. Molly, the sole survivor of a massacre a few years back, joins a college to study criminal psychology. Meanwhile someones going around imitating the famous Jack the Ripper killings from years ago. Not brilliantly, but killing people none the less! This starts off pretty badly and picks up halfway through and has some fairly effective scares and some gore. Overall, an ok, if not great, who-did-it type horror.

Started off really good and promising and then bombed massively. We see no other police officers for some reason other than the creepy Bill Nighy look-alike which makes it feel a bit like lack of attention to detail and after watching a couple of their fellow study groupers being offed they FOR NO REASON THAT'S EXPLAINED go out to a small remote house in the forest in the middle of the night to discuss the matter. Whilst the conduct of people in horror movies often seems bordering on special needs this along with most of the remainding third of the film is just forehead smackingly stupid and makes you angry rather than laugh - which is what I would hope for. Has some interesting stuff but just fails to capitalise and then comes the retardedness and a twist which seems too obvious, tried and tested and irritating in the wider context of idiotic behaviour.
½ August 27, 2009 fact, if you see this film in someones DVD collection... burn them, burn them good.

Couldn't even be bothered to watch past the first half hour. A film so creaky that even Kelly Brook playing an English girl just isn't convincing. Who cares?
