ROCK LOBSTER! No, it's Rock Monster! It's a really huge awkward departure from the original Sword in the Stone storyline. This guy didn't become a king. His name is not Arthur. Furthermore, the sword let to an unnecessary evil monster being unleashed upon the town. But it's an interesting film, with a fairly generic plot. But it's all of fun to watch.

A low-budget made-for-television effort in which newcomer Chad Collins does his best with very little. Alicia Lagano wavers between annoying and amusing, and Jon Polito is fun as the war veteran who knows how to defeat the titular creature.

With special effects that look like they've been created by a clunky '90s computer and a script that doesn't offer anything we haven't seen and suffered through before, 'Rock Monster' just doesn't cut it.

Bad acting and bad effects although the movie idea it's self was kinda Intreating If they had put more effort into it it could have been a good movie

As you would expect from the SyFy channel this film has no real plot and terrible acting. It has however have some nice special effects to keep you occupied. Saying that you spend most of the time trying to remember where you've seen half the cast before.

One of the better SYFY Channel movies out there.

A very bad Sci-Fi Channel flick. I somewhat like the idea of it, though. But it obviously has one of the worst acting and cheeiest effects ever...but it did have some pretty interesting deaths.

Creature cool. Acting bad. Plot stupid.

One of those movies where you wanted the monster to kill every annoying character 5
min into the movie.

This movie was a bit silly, but yet I have to admit I was a bit surprised at how entertaining it actually was. The young people that starred here did as well as could be expected, and of course the ROCK MONSTER stole the show!

Cheese is very much on the menu in this Sci-Fi Channel original about a Rock Monster causing havoc in some un-named Eastern European country. Anybody who has had the bad luck to have actually seen a Sci-Fi original before will know how painfully awful most of them are, the thing that elevates Rock Monster above the usual fare is that it never takes itself seriously, it knows it is an awful film and just goes with it. The plot is stupid, the CGI beyond terrible, the acing atrocious but for some strange reason this is what makes the film work. It is chock full of cliches and it's pretty obvious what is going to happen but there are some good action scenes and plenty of laughs (mostly unintentional) in there to make this an entertaining B-Movie.

Worth a watch on a boring day.

Direct to DVD B-movie rubbish, but suprisingly entertaining!

It's about a big monster made of rock who throws rocks and squishes folks with boulders. Insult your intelligence? It works for that. Amuse you in any way? Nope. Run far away.

Quite possibly one of the worst movies ever made. Even the CGI was bad. That being said, it is a lot of laughs and a good rainy day movie.

You can't help but laugh at how bad it is . . . it almost becomes goo- Okay not good but you do chuckle a bit at the camptasticness of it all.

"Somebody went under a dock / And there they saw a rock / It wasn't a rock / It was a rock monster!" A slightly above average bad CGI Sci-Fi Channel original movie.

Bad acting, script, direction, overall bad movie. It could have been redeemed by being more cheesy creative, but alas, we were not that lucky. I give this movie half a star, with an additional star for the rock monster looking as good as it did with such a small budget.
