This movie is hilarious!

A much lesser entry in the series, the best thing Rocky III has going for it is a quick pace and a (much like its subject) trim size. At only 93 minutes, it doesn't really overstay its welcome. But the movie is lacking in the heart and depth of its predecessors; not to mention Mr. T is a GODAWFUL actor.

Far, far behind 1,2 and 4. Even behind 6. Better than 5. It was nice to see a gutsy angle, but isn't raw or entertaining like the first 2.

It's a movie that has a conflicted tone but ultimately is a good amount of fun. For the most part, it is pretty cheesy but sometimes it decides to be more dramatic. I do think it is less predictable than the second one but overall you can still somewhat figure out how the movie is going to play out. I enjoy it for what it is and it isn't as good as the original for sure. It'still a fun movie with a silly but enjoyable Mr. T. performance and a fun use of the song "Eye of the Tiger."

Apparently, the worst that can happen to any fighter is to get civilized, and so the great underdog drama of the previous films is gone in this forgettable, unnecessary third installment now that we are left with a famous boxing star fighting a psycho killer.

I pitty the fool who doesn't love this film(Sorry) Mr T plays a great villain, The fights had more action that worked great even if they were over the top, Less drama but still a great sequel.

The first half wasn't as enjoyable, I didn't like Rocky too much while he was rich and famous. The second half of the movie was much more enjoyable though. And as usually it had great goosebumps moments. 4/5

With Eye of the Tiger playing and Rocky punching, Rocky 3 feels a little refreshed with Stallone's okay direction plus acting

Mr. T makes Clubber Lang a legend. Good plotline.

Good film. Not as good as the first two though

There's something to be said for Stallone's comedic timing. His exhibition match against Thunderlips (Hulk Hogan) is pretty funny. What I was most surprised by though is how well Stallone has developed the Rocky-Adrian love story by the third movie. He's written something believable and the dialogue is memorable not only for its sweetness and humour, but also for the mutual respect between them, even in moments of pushback.

Rocky 3 is the best and easily the most entertaining entry in the Rocky franchise with an animalistic villain, some heavy drama, and the surprising team-up of Rocky and Apollo which added the perfect amount of heart to this film. Since his championship win, Rocky has been coasting on fame, fighting lesser opponents to keep his title, until a tougher and meaner boxer named, Clubber Lang challenges, the Italian Stallion, to a fight which Rocky reluctantly accepts. However, before the fight can take place, a tragedy occurs which distracts, Rocky, in the ring and causes him to lose his championship status and his personal trainer. Broken, and unsure of how to defeat, Lang, Rocky joins forces with Apollo Creed who teaches him how to move swifter and adopt new styles of fighting. I absolutely loved this entry in the Rocky series and it put a HUGE smile on my face seeing Balboa and Creed setting aside their differences to work together and neutralize the savage, Lang. This is also the first film in the franchise to use the now iconic, Eye of the Tiger song and hearing it played during one of the infamous montage sequences was a real treat for the eyes and ears! There is also a RIDICULOUS wrestling match between Stallone and Hulk Hogan, in his prime, that goes so over the top it becomes hilarious. It's more of an action/fighting film, than a humble drama, but it has just enough of that Rocky charm and it is definitely my favourite in the series.

The worst of all the Rocky films. There's so many editorial mistakes it's unreal. Rocky has a flashback of a fight he hasn't had yet (he's wearing the stars and stripes in the flashback). There's a crowd shot using footage from Rocky 2, you can see the Rocky vs Apollo poster in background. Rocky was trained by Apollo to Dance around his opponent and wear him down. Instead he just stands directly in front of him taking shots that no man could take. It's a shame cause Rocky was an awesome well made film and Rocky 2 was pretty good also. Stallone really lost his way with this one. The whole gritty style of the first two is completely gone in this one.

Probably the best since the first one, if not better.

Rocky III explores the life and feelings of the champion when he losses his self confidence and finds a way to rebuild with the help of an unexpected person that is able to see the world from his point of view.

Mr. T was good in this he was cocky as Ali the Rocky threw it back at him. Rocky will always be the champ.
