The film won’t be remembered as a campus classic, or even in the upper half of college movies, but it’s also not hard to see a world where somebody watches it at exactly the right time in their lives and proceeds to cherish it forever.

Questioning the moral fortitude of these comedies used to be something only critics did [...] Now 'Roommates' is getting in on the act and I respect the film’s sense of introspection. I just wish it had funnier jokes.

Although it works strongly when it focuses on emotional drama, it is less consistent when it veers towards dark comedy, but the film is so entertaining that it's easy to overlook its flaws. [Full review in Spanish]

Contender for comedy of the year This was such a blast Celeste wants you think she's sweet but she evil , Devon so sweet and kind got taken advantage of but in the end stood up for herself It's on her lesson not to just make any kind of friend

I watched the whole thing, because i was wondering how how is it possible to make this bad in every way. Netflix has data on all it hight school/ collage drama series, and they made a drama movie worse than all of them. HOW?!?!?.

As a girl who has genuinely dealt with roommates like this—yes, more than one—I found this movie incredibly relatable. I imagine a large number of women will feel the same. It’s both triggering and laugh-out-loud funny at the same time. Definitely worth watching.
