Audience Reviews for Roots: One Year Later

I can't find Alex Haley's "Roots" on here anywhere .Roots was the Most Important,Impactful, & most Viewed Mini-Series of all time.It was Life Changing, as well as World Changing. The Story, with it's True Characters were richly portrayed, you felt their pains, endured their Sorrows, & traveled their Journeys in a way you'd never experienced before. You felt Roots in your Soul then, & it still overwhelms you the same way today.Roots deserves a mention on Flixter for showing the World what it was like when Men owned other Men in this Young Progressive Country.

Finished watching the mini-series recently. This special feature on the 30th anniversary edition set from just one year after Roots had aired on television was interesting in its commentary about the immediate effect the show had on audiences.
