Movie Info

R.O.T.O.R. stands for "Robot Officer Tactical Operation Research Unit" and that means a crime-stopping robot which is unintentionally set in motion and is headed out the door in downtown Dallas, looking for crooks. Its programmed command is "judge and execute," which has its inventors a little concerned (never having been beta-tested!) so they set out to find and deactivate the well-meaning metal guy.

Audience Reviews for R.O.T.O.R.

Okay, so first of all, this movie is terrible, but it's also funny as hell in that it's about a robot cop on a motorcycle and how he kills his way around the Texas countryside in dogged pursuit of one poor woman after it malfunctions and focuses on her as a lawbreaker. The film is silly as hell, but still a ton of fun, I'd recommend watching with boozed up friends and having a blast. Worth a tentative rental.

Cheap Robocop/Terminator rip-off, but not all bad. It doesn't take it's self too seriously, and actually has a nice bit of humor in it, making it pretty fun. The storyline, however, is dull and slow, with uninteresting characters and a confusing ending. Somewhat entertaining, but only enough for a few scenes.
