The mix of humor, drama, and sci-fi keeps it engaging, and the new generation vibe makes it feel different yet still true to the spirit of Star Trek. I was lead to think by other reviews that it was a good film. It soon became apparent it was a comedy of holocaust events. I could not tolerate watching the film knowing that the events it was trying to make fun of were reflective of real events. I thought the film insensitive and inappropriate to the memory of the mass victims of the greatest atrocity.
