Movie Info

"For a band with high standards, a perfect show is impossible, and an excellent show is rare. You hope that the norm is good. To deliver a truly exceptional, comfortable performance before a recording truck or film crew has been our unfulfilled dream of many years." - Neil Peart on the making of A SHOW OF HANDS, Rush's video version of their live album of the same name. Fourteen digitally mixed and mastered songs in concert by Canada's best-known rock trio.

Audience Reviews for Rush - A Show of Hands

You will probably only like this live DVD if you are a fan of Rush in the 80's, when synthesizers dominated their sound. I like the music they released during the decade, and found this live film to be a fairly straightforward one. This is a film which is all Lee/Peart/Lifeson, with short clips of the audience and animations that were shown at the concert interspersed throughout. The songs are performed well, and I enjoyed this film thoroughly form start to finish.
