Very classy blu-ray package, with an amazing reference quality transfer for one of the greatest movies of the last 30 years. The only extra is old Voices from the List Documentary in fuzzy SD and a Digital Copy/UltraViolet version of the movie.

Steven Spielberg's controversial, defining work on the limitations of success arrives on Blu-ray with a fantastic A/V transfer and a modest helping of contextual extras.

There's no shortage of bleak and graphic moments, but this remarkable film is also as uplifting as it is disturbing.

The first half of the film is enormously entertaining in a perverse sort of way, with Ralph Fiennes delivering a giddily satisfying performance as a moral-less concentration camp commandant.

I saw the movie, its characters and their struggles anew, not as some vague abstract of heroism or resiliency, but as human beings who witnessed something I can't begin to fathom

The Holocaust... is an extreme measure of mankind's capacity for evil. Trying to do it justice in an entertainment medium such as the Hollywood movie is a quixotic mission at best.

A superb transfer retains the tragedy and power of this horrific time in history and of how one man made a difference in the lives of a thousand others.
