Movie Info

Does the Loch Ness monster exist? The Mystery Inc. gang -- Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma and Fred -- take on this decades-old puzzle in another wild and wacky animated adventure. The gang heads to a castle in Scotland owned by Daphne's family to decipher the clues, which at first point to the creature's existence. But as always, things are not what they seem. Along the way, Scooby and Shaggy get spooked by ghosts and goblins galore.

Audience Reviews for Scooby-Doo and the Loch Ness Monster

It's a generic Scoody-Doo film, not amazing, but still decent. It is okay. Oh, and John Dimaggio plays a scottish frat-like teen. Some of the derogatory chase songs in this film were awful, not that I like any of them from any film, but this one had the worst songs. It's Scooby Doo, you know what you're getting into.

The modern Scooby Doo movies can be hit and miss but this is a really enjoyable entry for my favorite animated series. The team visit Scotland to hang with Daphne's cousin (I knew she must have celtic blood with that fiery red hair) and take part in the highland games. Of course they run into the fabled monster and discover there's more than meets the eye. There's a nice sub-plot involving Scooby and Shaggy uncharacteristically refusing to eat because Scottish cuisine is so bad.

Not my favorite of the cartoon Scooby Doo movies, but I enjoyed it. I love seeing Scooby movies being made.
