Movie Info

Robert Mitchum appears as a self-exiled prizefighter (he killed a man in a bout) hiding (from himself) in Mexico. He meets Linda Darnell, a gal who is hiding from a Senate Investigating Committee that is trying to force her to testify against an underworld kingpin. The mobster (Jack Palance) is looking for her, too, and he's likely to see to it that she'll never testify for anyone, anywhere. Mitchum is there to defend her.
