“ An OK movie, however very predictable. To many loose ends throughout the movie.”
An easy yet incredibly predictable watch and very little to offer then to pass a bit of time. Not awful but a lot of other great choices on Netflix!
Such a shame because it is a great idea for a thriller. However it was ruined with poor acting and writing.
There was no suspense build what so ever.
A movie like this should easily have the potential to keep you gripped throughout but Secret Obsession failed to do this.
I recommend this to maybe a not so bright 13 year old.
Entretenida, pero nada más, se olvida al final.
So frustrating to watch, I almost quit halfway. Not suspenseful at all... frustration at the three major character's stupidity.
Lost interest immediately when the entire conflict could have been avoided in the very first scene. Not to mention the rest of the movie lives up to this rating.
Movies was very well done. Gripping! Really enjoyed it.
Now and then a movie comes out that's so bad and ridiculous that I feel compelled to talk about it. So this is less of recommendation and more of a warning. A warning so you don't waste 97 minutes and spend that time doing something a lot more productive.
Secret Obsession (2019) is the story of Jennifer, a woman recuperating from trauma she slowly begins to realize that her caregiver is a very dangerous person.
This is a new addition to Netflix and really discourages me from watching more of their original programming. So many plot holes due to a poor script, wooden acting, and a predictable twist. It's the same concept of Stephen King's Misery (1990) but no with thrills and no payoff. Be sure to skip this. 👎🏾
Hilarious because of how predictable it was. Very much a "made for TV" movie. No suspense, no surprises. But funny because of all of that.
Entertaining and at times engrossing. But overall, lacking in realism.
