Movie Info

A beautiful salesgirl falls victim to a brutal gangster, and after being forced into a life of depravity, her escape is only the beginning of her terror in director Giuliano Carnimeo's gritty Eurocult classic. Anna (Edwige Fenech) was a naïve shop girl working in a small boutique when she fell prey to the deceptive charms of serpentine gangster Guido (Corrado Pani). After being forced into prostitution and suffering endless abuse at the hands of the brutish Guido, Anna resolves to escape with her son and start life anew with kindly doctor Lorenzo (John Richardson). Soon tracked down by the ruthless and vengeful gangster, Anna is forced to face her fears and fight for her life.

Audience Reviews for Secrets of a Call Girl

as far as secrets go, this call girl's is rather lame. Has the fatalism of a dime store novel and the slapped up charm of a petty pimp losing at playing psychomobster. I liked the sped up timeline of the story but could have done without another shot of that bastard kid running into the arms of someone. Fenech registers blank stares as depth and still has eyeliner right out of double surgery. Plus she keeps her top on for most of it all. And maybe that is the worst secret of them all.
