Audience Reviews for Secrets of Angels, Demons & Masons
(1st part): (3.5/5) I don't know anything about Dan Brown's books (nor have I seen The Da Vinci Code), but this rather well-produced documentary was interesting nonetheless. Basically this film lets the viewer know which aspects of this novel Angels and Demons are fact and which are fiction. Interesting history to learn and some great artwork to look at. It did spark an interest in Dan Brown's work for me. (2nd part): 1.5/5 A well-made work made to scoff at the notion Freemasons have any special powers or any connection to the long-dead Illuminati. This appears to be made as a sort of damage control device as the conclusion is readily seen throughout. Intended to look like it will teach some secret aspects of the society, but it really tried to make the Masons like the most innocuous, benevolent society ever. The defenders presented here are an Arab neo-con and a member of the OTO, so take it for what it is, and be sure to read between the lines.
