Audience Reviews for Secrets of the Clown

The clown bit is rather pointless, otherwise it's about as generic and confusing as any other modern day b-movie horror. With disgusting gore close-ups and cheap effects, as well as bland characters and dumb moments. It is somewhat watchable however, yet it doesn't hit many good points.

Secrets Of The Clown is so bad that it becomes quite funny. The premise, while intriguing, is rendered hammy by the hilariously awful dialogue and over-the-top acting. There is also some gore and tasteless nudity for good measure like any good cheesy low budget horror film. Had this been given a bigger budget and had a better script, this could have worked as a serious horror film, but as it stands it's only a film for people who like their horror films covered with cheese. I had a blast with it, but most will not.

"Where is the clown!?" This movie didn't get into "Midnight Horror Collection" for nothing. It stands up to this title very well. It is campy as heck with HORRIBLE acting and unmatching score. The storyline brought this up as well as its gore. Another thing for guys to appreciate is the hot nude babes. Funny, but true. Overall,ok.
