Movie Info

A sexy and ferociously funny Feature Film. Seducing Charlie Barker is a sad, hilarious, witty and right-on rendering of a talented but out of work New York actor, Charlie Barker, whose disenchantment with the surreal contradictions of show business leaves him vulnerable to the charms of a language-annihilating narcissistic party girl, Clea. -- (C) Official Site

An intermittently interesting but fatally clichéd comedy of personal and professional suicide.

Audience Reviews for Seducing Charlie Barker

An excellent satirical take on the entertainment business with wonderful performances, including a not-to-be missed performance by Heather Gordon. A very unusual and well-made film. Highly recommended!

A mediocre film with just enough high points to keep you watching. I recommend it as a late night Netflix film so if you fall asleep you will not feel so bad about it.

This is a fantastic indie film, with a "don't miss" breakout performance by Heather Gordon as "Clea." With screenplay by Theresa Rebeck ("Smash"), it's packed with biting comedy, poor human behavior, and head-shaking irony. Reserve it. Rent it. Share it!
