Good stunts and fighting. Jingle "All the Way" Ma and Tony Leung have improved significantly in the five years since Tokyo Raiders. Shu Qi and Richie Jen are great additions. Much better than the first, but still quite hokey.

A rather bland but watchable Hong Kong action-comedy set mostly in Seoul, Korea. The fight scenes are ok and neatly choreographed but the story and humour just don't hit the mark. It's quite a forgettable film and won't rank highly among the casts best films which include Hong Kong legend Tony Leung and the irresistible Shu Qi.

The sequel to Tokyo Radiers. New story not quite as funny as the first but still worth watching, lots of good action and story is captivating. Cast are perfect. A must see.

Strange but very enjoyable comedy using Chinese film stars in a Korean location. Nothing special about this film but somehow leaves you with a smile. Action is not in the Jackie Chan, Jet Li class and reminds me of Stephen Chows material, but thee are some good chases and an easy story with a good twist at the end. Something for a wet evening and want an undemanding film with the always excellent Tony Leung and the beautiful Shu Qi. Also worth noting that this is a follow on from Tokyo Raiders some five years earlier, something which is now on order :)

Not bad action movie and have quite alot of fighting. But too bad the 3 korean lady assisstant are not been used much. Shu Qi is quite irrelevant in this movie. Shu Qi wanted to steal 2 money plate but stumble onto Tony Leung. He cooly make off with the plates and soon the guards were after them. She wants to claim half of the bounty. During the fighting, they toss the briefcase to and fro and finally Shu Qi make it off. She open the case and the plates weren't in there. Next, Tony go to the USA embassy to deal with Richie Ren. After smelling the cork and down the 2nd glass, he fainted. When he woke up he got apprehanded. The HK police chief is his friend so he has nothing on him. Tony next go to Korea to nail Richie and gather his 3 lovely korean assistants. Tracked him down as he rented a car, they went after him and trap him in the train. Both fight and ended up Richie both hand bounded by his coat and outside the train door. But he escape at next stop. Richie return to a club to deal with the businessman code name Polar Bear. But his rep Black Bear (James Kim) appear instead. The henchmen keep Tony busy fighting. Richie back out the deal and demand 10 million more. Later on, Shu Qi found Tony and want to combine again. She have source to track down Richie. Tony fight with Richie at the public bath and he escape again. But Tony got back one plate. Richie go deal again and now this time he only will deal with Polar Bear. They fight him and he manage to escape when a patrol car come. His rented car is search. He call for help from a agent but is useless. He was fighting in the carpark when a lady pass him a motorbike to escape. Richie tries to steal back the plate at Tony's home but was caught. Tony punked him before telling him he is the secret agent to assist him. He have to pretend to be his enemy as Black Bear has already investigate him. Shu Qi got info on Richie's secret cupboard and she went alone to claim the plate but was caught. Black Bear wants to complete the deal including Richie. The deal was done and Richie want the last dying wish to see Polar Bear. He is a stroke guy in wheelchair, the wife of the interpreter. She and Black Bear snatch his business and make it their style. Then backup arrive and they were all fighting and running but still all the baddies are caught. Departing, Richie keep talking about Shu Qi. She wants her share of payoff.

The Korean Job (dt. Titel)

This one of the worst Jingle Ma movie's and definately far worst than the first show despite how the movie manages to gather so many Hong Kong superstars.

In comparison with the previous, the characters acting are too fake and all of them looks like they are just reading their script. As much as I like Shu Qi and Richie Jen, they both looks and sounds awful in the movie.

Being an action comedy movie, the action totally sucks and seriously, the movie wouldn't make it if it wasn't for Tony Leung and of course, riding over the success of the previous installment... Tokyo Raiders.

I love this show as Tony Leung had brought this film to live.

just another commercial & conservative movie without surprise. The payment must be very high, otherwise Tony Leung & Shu Qi will not agree to act such story. now already 2008, not 1998. what a waste.

Weak plot and script.

Sequel to Tokyo Raiders, and equally light in tone... this is the family friendly end of the HK action genre. Lam (Tony Leung) jets to Seoul this time for another soft crime caper peppered with kung fu, comedy, beautiful assistants and exotic backdrops. As much as I like Shu Qi there's little substance to the film and it's pretty vacuous viewing.

Awful music, fighting scenes were too long without being interesting. There is no plot, they just seem to walk from one place to another and then start to beat the hell out of each other. One star for the wasabi torturing scene, another for the setting and a third because some comedy bits are ok.

My advice is to watch it in english with english subtitles. It's a terrible film but the scenery is nice.
