So dull that it passes for family value entertainment.

Audience Reviews for The Shadow Riders

A straight-forward western set at the end of the Civil War, though other than brothers fighting on opposite sides, it has nothing to do with the war. This was made for TV, so the production values are what you'd expect. Selleck and Elliott were made for westerns - very believable. Witty adventure I enjoyed.

Classic western. The bad guys couldn't hit the side of a barn from the inside, the good guys can't miss, and nobody ever runs out of ammo.

A pretty good Louis L'Amour story! Tom Selleck and Sam Elliiott, as brothers who fought on opposite sides during the just-ended Civil War, are great to watch in this movie.
