Movie Info

In this seedy anti-marijuana tract, Lila Leeds plays an impressionable chorus girl who is hooked onto marijuana by her collegiate brother. Going from bad to worse, the girl becomes a dope pusher to support her reefer habit. Ultimately, she goes "cold turkey" and becomes a narc for the feds.

Audience Reviews for She Shoulda Said No

This is one of four marijuana themed films on Mill Creek Entertainment's 20 Cult Classics pack, but I think it is the best of the four. While the portrayal of marijuana is still over the top like the other three, the film itself is surprisingly well made and not only is the best of the drug-themed films in the pack, but it is also one of the better films in the pack, period. As a drama about how drug addiction can ruin lives, it is a fascinating and compelling film that is well-acted, solidly written, and it delivers its messages effectively. This was quite a surprise to say the least. It's a very underrated and under-appreciated film that I think deserves more attention.

Cool movie. Bad girl Lila Leeds gets into trouble smoking marijuana. Well acted by most of the cast, decent production. Leeds does a very good job. Ordinary score, well edited though.
