Critic Reviews for Sherlock Holmes in Pursuit to Algiers

Though the plot-line was stale and this is one of the poorer ones in the series, the Rathbone-Bruce team are always good enough to make things entertaining.

Ozus' World Movie Reviews

The film is marred by glacial pacing, its own silly premise, and a snowballing series of absurdities.

Audience Reviews for Sherlock Holmes in Pursuit to Algiers

Notable for its multiple red herrings, and not much else. As always the case, however, it's a quick bit of light entertainment.

Another gem from the Rathbone/Bruce Catalogue. The story involves a prince who trying to travel back to Algiers. Of course, that is far too much to ask and so Sherlock Holmes is on hand to make sure nothing serious happens to the prince. The film is of the later Universal collection, and it is still showing that not all films have to be great but simply entertaining.
