Rigetii R @Riget 3d This film deals with heavily exploited topics. Furthermore, it is done in an amateurish way. Nothing innovative, nothing interesting. I’m sure it can be picked apart by space nerds but the story is solid without delving too deep and losing its audience. The acting is great and the pace is perfect. I will agree some pieces of the story were very short and some were not needed. Overall give it a go if you have time See more tm11999 M @tm11999 Jun 16 very good story that has an unambiguous ending. everybody is believable and does well, including the moon faced chubby josh hutcherson. thewlis plays thewlis and the pretty young jewish girl is fabulous. funny how dennis quaid plays sam houston again. you can watch this. See more Josh T @RT11563542 Jun 13 This movie turned out to be more confusing than revealing. What do the aliens want, why have they contacted us? Then for it to be a annoying part of the movie that the aliens are never seen or even given the slightest glimpse of who they are, what they look, or sound like was just very annoying in my opinion! Then the whole idea of a portal opening over our entire planet and then in the end nothing even really happens! No questions about humanity were answered and the movie ends with, " how do you know they aren't still here?". That was just utterly senseless and in my opinion the movie was a bunch meaningless mumbo-jumbo that was hardly entertaining at all!
