Oh yes, yes, yes. If you liked IN BRUGES and just wanted a little bit more, find this 27 minute short by Martin McDonagh and no, its nothing to do with Bruges, and yes it does have Brendan Gleeson in it, and yes, its just as black and just as funny, and yes there's a bit of swearing too, and there a cracking ending and no I'm not going to spoil by saying any more, just track it down and ENJOY!

Oscar winner in 2006 for Best Short Film.

Six Shooter is a provocative Irish black comedy that illustrates the agony of dealing with death, and how death can come in many forms.

This short film was directed by the talented Martin McDonagh, who brought us In Bruges.

Brendan Gleeson (who also stars in In Bruges) is amazing here as a man who just lost his wife. In a chance encounter on a train, he sits with a fast-talking, wise-cracking, full-blown psychopathic Irish kid who verbally traumatizes a suffering adjoining couple who are coping with the loss of their newborn son.

A heart-wrenching and tragic film, sprinkled with dashes of comedy, and a fantastic shoot out at the conclusion, make this short film a must see.

You can buy this on Itunes for like $2, or download it some where. It's well worth your time.
