Chris T @ChrisG73 5d Set aside the bad reviews. If you like noir murder mysteries, this is the movie for you. Sleeping Dogs with Russell Crowe and Tommy Flanagan is an outstanding classic neo-noir murder mystery. It's excellently done — the script is amazing, great cinematography, the pacing is excellent, and the dialogue keeps you on the edge of your seat. The mystery deepens as it unfolds, taking several surprising turns and leaving you guessing right up until the very last moment. It reminds me of Memento, but is better and more seamless. I know it's been a few years since Russell Crowe was in his glory days, but I think this is one of his best movies. It's a classic whodunit, and I recommend it to everyone. Worth a watch See more andrea c @Charst Dec 17 Thriller poliziesco dalla sceneggiatura interessante, composta di numerosi personaggi che permettono di mantenere la trama imprevedibile ed aperta a diversi finali. Russell Crowe in forma, capitano di un cast di tutto rispetto in grado di far scorrere piacevolmente tutti i dialoghi e di spezzare con successo le sequenze di azione, che invece risultano più artificiali. Alcuni personaggi purtroppo non sono approfonditi abbastanza e vengono sfruttati solo per lo scopo; ciò nonostante riescono a ritagliarsi quasi tutti il loro momento di protagonismo. Il finale, pur non così a sorpresa, è gradevole ed intrigante. Forse la sparatoria in stile "stallo alla messicana" è un po' riduttiva vista la complessità dell'indagine e della trama.
