(1989) Slickers Vs Killers
(In Chinese with English subtitles)
½ October 31, 2011
One of the weaker Sammo Hung entries in his filmography. Sammo plays Success Hung, a telephone salesman. He witnesses a murder in a parking lot, and get tangled into multiple subplots with an office rival, his policewoman wife and her partner, and his personal problems with his shrink.

The movie is very unfocused, with the main storyline being shafted for some crazy subplots. There are some funny bits here and there, but the movie doesn't pick a tone and stay with it. One moment it will be slapstick comedy, then torture and stabbing.

One really good shot that stands out is when the killers attempt to kill Hung in a filled storage room with close quarters. The camera hovers right in front of them and moves with them, and its a show of very well done camera work.

Not enough fighting for a decent action flick, and not enough good comedy for this messy movie with no real theme or plot.
