yeah, it was alright... kinda messed up story with a few turns and some funnys bits... the main kid just annoyed me a bit too much for me to really get into it (too much character and risk taking for a normal 13 year old).

This was an unpleasant film which I didn't see the point of.

A perfect film if not now a little dated (the music mainly) Very underated and almost fogotten about at times, gritty, realistic and a truly heart warming/ heart breaking film. The cast is incredible , the acting from the leads truly captivating.

Top Qaulity Hard Glasgow Gang Film

One of the best films I've seen over the past few years, set in Glasgow (and no it is nothing like Trainspotters), everything about it looks as if it really was the late 1960's, and it appears a lot of it was based on real life events. I wonder if that drawing really is in the Glasgow art gallery?

Quite bleak really, but such a good portrayal of the 70s working class youth culture I grew up in, that the positive ending left me feeling good (not that Bradwell was violent like Glasgow, but the macho male role model was dominant everywhere then).

Classic film, which I have watched again and again over the years. Iain Robertson is fantastic as young Lex. Underated film which sholud have been as big as Trainspotting.

Saw this again last night. Its a coming of age cum gang film set in 60s glasgow. Plot seemed a bit confused at times and some of the characters' actions seemd a bit far fetched, but the 60s ambience was pretty good.
