Lorenzo Lamas returns at the titular Snake Eater, playing a Vietnam vet who breaks out of a mental institution to go after drug dealers. The Snake Eater isn't also though. He has his comic relief buddy "Speedboat" to help him out. A bad movie to be sure, but it does have a 1980s direct-to-video VHS charm about it. Most memorable of all is a MacGyver-like plan to blow up one mafia figure by putting laxative in his food, which then causes him to use the restroom which was rigged to blow when he has a bowel movement. Overall, a terrible movie, but one that was bad enough to be ironically enjoyed.

This movie is a total let down. I love the first Snake Eater so that makes me hate how terrible Snake Eater 2 is that much more. This movie is just plane sad.

Much better than the original! Soldier goes to a mental institution after blowing away 4 drug pushers who lace their product with poison and he still brings down the rest of the drug ring while there. Amusing stuff in the asylum from Harvey Atkin.

Soldier takes the fight to drug dealers pushing product on kids. A definite improvement on the original with Palillo returning as Torchy, now a mental ward patient. A few laughs, including some heavy traffic in the air ducts of the mental hospital.

"No fear whitey is here" action movie. Big whitey is selling some hybrid posoin/drugs to the black community. Little whitey kills them.

Not overly political correct. The rich white drug dealers let it look if it was the sequel to "Panther"

Mel Gibson's marketable character from the Lethal Weapon movies finds a new merchandising life in this rip-off action flick. Lorenzo Lamas portrays Soldier, an unorthodox cop turned vigilante is getter better than the original.
