Audience Reviews for Back to Gaya (Boo, Zino & the Snurks)

At first the movie promises little but very little, after the story is distorted and collapsed, and turned the movie boring, childish and predictable, laughable characters and dialogue and a villain that leaves much to be desired.

Cute family movie. The CGI is passable, the story is marginally interesting though not very original, and the voice acting is average. I found it distracting that some characters had more noticeable accents than others. The villain is over the top, but the movie teaches that not all things are black/white or good/evil in the world. There are layers to everything. Decent, but not recommended for those with very young children (or for adults without children - you'll probably be bored). You wrote this on 6/16/09.

Incredibly entertaining schlock treatment. The animation was beastly but what to expect from low budget First Look, the ultimate Redbox distribution ho. Twas great fun but didn't possess a stinging molecule of sense. For some reason it just put me in a good mood and I would definitely pay a dollar to watch it again someday. A plus, seeing as how I HATE children's films and 98% of animation films. A perfect family film I'd say, even though it is pretty horrific at times and moves sluggishly in some scenes.
