This suspense drama directed by Mark Quod was a typical B grade movie with enough budget to look professional. Sadly, budget could not make for the quality or anything worth watching in this TV movie. My copy of the movie was called "Mother" but I think they changed it to "Social Nightmare" for other countries distribution, and that is how it's listed on this site! Or, they changed it because it tells you all about the suspense result!? Very stupid, if you think about it. The plot of the movie is about Cat (Kirsten Prout) and her life as a student. The movie starts with her hanging with her friend Emily (Chloe Bridges) and her boyfriend Daniel (Brandon Smith). Cat and Daniel have a kissing session in her closet while Emily third-wheels it by drinking hard lemonade and pretending to talk to Cat's teddy bear... OK, I could guess how bad the movie can be from there. In the closet Daniel reveals his adopted sister's birth mother has been contacting them, but the sister doesn't know she's adopted. Cat here is promising to send Daniel something special that night... special photos! I won't explain more, but the director tried all different twists possible, but I bet that you already knew who is doing all the stupid stuff around the 15 minutes into the movie - and there is no point of watching the rest. I did watch it, though, to the end and I am telling you, choose watching anything else, even grass growing, if you have a choice! This will take at least 10 points of your IQ! Of course, if you like watching very boring and transvestite looking Daryl Hannah acting like she's never seen an acting school in her life, the director which doesn't know the meaning of the word suspense, and an idiotic script... enjoy it!

I had a feeling about who the "stalker" was the entire time, but it was still pretty shocking.
