The epilogue to Avengers: Endgame first, and Iron Man 4 second, and a Spider-Man vehicle only when it cannot find a reason to be one of the other things.

Some plots seem too long, tedious and the turning point only happens after one hour of story. [Full Review in Spanish]

The bad news is that the cast that surrounds them continue to be insufferable Gen-Z clichés, and watching their slim storylines play out felt to this reviewer like nails on a chalkboard. Plus, none of these actors look like high-schoolers anymore.

One of the problems with Far from Home is its visual mundanity, and it betrays this genre of films' (especially the much vaunted MCU's) slavish obsession with technology.

Like the sound cue that opens it Far frmom Home meets every chance for sincere examination of emotion with a dismissive shrug or an irreverent joke, becoming a bland, exhausting product moonlighting as a movie.

Marvel's 23rd entry feels not like an epilogue to the main story, but a request for a clean slate; a plea for its audience to forget the failings of its films and characters, and to instead accept their iconography at a distance.

That's a lot of supers, but unfortunately none of them apply to the plot, which is way too complex for its own good and involves an awful lot of trickery and illusion, including the illusion that this film is a worthy successor to Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is one of the few films in the MCU that suffers from having too much connective tissue.
July 8, 2019
Both the [film's] pseudo-plot and its characters proceed without rhyme or reason, like headless chickens. [Full review in Spanish]
July 7, 2019
An unnecessarily busy sequel to "Homecoming" that never gels together.
July 7, 2019
Spider-Man: Far From Home has a major problem: It cannot let the Iron Man franchise go.
July 6, 2019
There's an incredibly charming high school romance here, but it's buried under 'Iron Man 4.'

I enjoyed Tom Holland as Spider-Man...and Zendaya as MJ but unfortunately I did not like the villain plot...I found it convoluted, predictable and dull
July 5, 2019
"Spider-Man: Far From Home," even with its charming subplot of teen love and angst, is just another super hero movie in a world where I need Captain No More to save me from seeing another film in this genre.
July 5, 2019
Unfortunately, this is far from Marvel's best.
July 3, 2019
Ultimately, it's hobbled by some thin characterizations, most crucially a romance that just doesn't work.
July 3, 2019
Spider-Man: Far From Home is a visually incoherent, effects-heavy superhero movie that would seem quite at home on the Disney Channel.
