Movie Info

"Spirits of St. Paul", defines the infamous Gangster Era in St. Paul in the 1920's and 30's. The political and police corruption that existed during that period brought some of the biggest name gangsters in the country to St. Paul for the safe haven that they knew would await them. Jerome Marzullo stars as mob boss, Harry Sawyer who administered this infamous system of protection. The FBI's Public Enemy Number One, Alvin "Creepy" Karpis, (John Egan), once said, "If you were looking for a guy who you hadn't seen for a few months, you usually thought of two places- prison or St. Paul." This dramatic portrayal takes you on a journey through the landmark events of St. Paul's Gangster Era.
