Fulfills kids' empowerment fantasies and features enough techno-wizardry and cool f/x to satisfy those weaned on videogames.

The entire ensemble of old pros play their designated roles well; standing out are Cumming, whose trademark impishness fits this role like a glove; and Danny Trejo, playing a nice guy for a change and pulling it off wonderfully.

... the nonstop action and terrifically imaginative production should make "Spy Kids" a winner with kids. Adults will enjoy it as well.

Although gadgets galore almost overwhelm the film's characters and plot, this whimsical spoof of spy thrillers offers plenty of fun for the whole family.

A don't-miss future classic, Spy Kids is aimed at children but the entire family will enjoy its pro-family message and the cheesy-fun effects that'll make you want to be a kid again.
