Angela B @RT93262752 7h It's nice to go watch a film without a dystopian and hopeless feeling. One of my favourite characters is Raphael, he has the perfect balance of humour and lightheartedness. The Cinematography is captivating and beautiful, you care for the characters especially Joshua and Aisling, who take you on this journey of self discovery, Lastly the music is beautiful, sweeping and epic creating the mood and tone of the story, all and all StarBright has brought back the Fantasy genre in a big way! See more John F @MovieLoverJF 7h This was indeed a pleasant surprise. I read a critic’s review saying Starbright had been in development hell for years. This made me curious to enough to give the movie a chance after all, it survived development hell! It is a movie reminiscent of bygone days, where story and characters are more vital than action. The beautiful cinematography reminded me of Close Encounters of the Third kind, with some spectacular settings. The music is at times haunting and epic adding to the majesty of the film. Starbright is over two hours, but you become invested in the adventure, and time flies by. The messages of the film are a powerful display of the desire to keep hope alive. Starbright is tempered with fantasy, romance, action and humor, combing these seamlessly to create a fantastic movie, well worth watching. The story balances the action and romance perfectly you care deeply for the characters, what they care about and what they are fighting for. It's refreshing to see something original and unique for a change, rather than a movie rebooted from 30 years ago. Joshua, Aisling and Raphael are the kinds of characters you want more of in movies today. I can't wait to watch it again! CGI is used at the very beginning and end of the movie cause of cosmos. WHY IS THIS ONE HOUR OF CAMERA WORTHLESS SLOW PANS AND WHY IS THERE A DOG??? SO MUCH DILLY-DALLYING AT THE CHATEAU.
