A redemptive fable at once artful, elegant, and clean. But by stripping out any and all complications, the movie denies itself the opportunity for nuance and puts a ceiling on its own ambition.

Thanks to Fassbender's revelatory performance, Jobs comes across as a captivating monster, a dictator in a black turtleneck who is impossible to ignore.

It entertains and enlightens, and it's bang on in showing how great ideas are born not through compromise but through vision and determination.

Audience Reviews for Steve Jobs

Michael Fassbender offers a remarkable performance in this rapid and complex biopic. Steve Jobs' fascinating direction and perplexing narrative conjures up a solid perspective on a visionary figure and path. 4/5

An intelligent, well-acted character study that avoids being another full-life biopic about Steve Jobs and does instead a remarkable job to flesh out his personality through three public events in his life and a few flashbacks - which, in turn, suffer a bit from rather clumsy editing.

½

Quite likely, the most boring film I have seen in years. Good acting, but sub-par script with poor lighting, sound, editing and cinematography.
