Maybe I would recommend this to RT buddies Yum Yum and Paul Freitag but not so much to Fritz or Max. If you read those wonderful journals then you would know where you fall. I tend to fall into both groups so I love a good piece of 70's nostalgia. Shot on location Barry Levinson co-wrote with Michael Miller this depressing titty drama. Levinson also was the cinematographer. See Angel and Sally are lovers but no one excepts their gayness. Angel falls for Mario who is trying hook her on heroin and turn her out for tricks. Sally wants to help but you see her and her cross dressing brother just cannot seem to find a way. Then Angels father comes to town looking for her... The acting by some of the cast especially Carol Case (sally) is oddly natural. Sad to say this was her only film listed on IMDB.. Very depressing and melancholy but this just makes this flick even more raw and edgy. Very low budget and honest film about street life in the 70's.
