Guy Pearce gives a great performance as the villain and it’s real easy to dislike the pos he’s playing. It’s a very good movie and worth sitting down for with a bowl of popcorn and a warm blanket. The pace is reasonable and the rest of the cast all give great performances. If you’re looking for artsy fancy between the lines bs then this movie is not for you. It’s straight forward and to the point. Watch it on Prime, it’s included and at the time of this post #7 in horror movies

There’s slow and brooding, and then there’s too slow and too brooding. Director Baird doesn’t seen to know when a shot has overstayed its welcome. Indifferent acting from everyone but Guy Pearce and poor editing choices doom this one.
