It has a "can do" spirit that makes one smile at the fact that something this ambitious could be made on a modest budget, but it's too inconsistent and slight to ever be considered a cult or genre classic.

Throw in a few vaguely futuristic terms - Jacks, Overwatch - and a cameo by pro wrestler Jay Reso, and you've got a distinctly Canadian take on the genre. Because apocalypse starts with an "Eh."

A lower-key Road Warrior. While no one would confuse the many highway fire-fights and head-shot kills with the big-budget carnage in a tent-pole action feature, director Dean moves it along with the requisite urgency and noise.
