In terms of surfing-themed movies from the 80s, this is much better than Surf Nazis Must Die.
Awful. Squanders even the usually easy cheap laughs from fart and belching jokes. Not a sequel or part of a trilogy like the title and tag lines suggest.
Nerd seeks revenge against the surfing community by peddling a Cola that turns surfers into zombie punks. Often crude but never really funny. Beach Boys prominently featured on an excellent soundtrack, which sadly was never released.
this movie made me laugh, shit even the title alone makes me laugh .. considering surf 1 doesnt even exist
highlights :eddie deezen, zombie surfers, horshack as a cop
Everything about this film screams 'Jeff Caissie'.
'Surf II' is a film perhaps too powerful for the human mind to comprehend. A much-needed breath of fresh air coming from an era that was rife with trendy superficiality and painfully generic tripe such as 'Sixteen Candles', 'Surf II' - in true punk rock fashion - abandoned any and all things commercial, conventional and even coherent, resulting in one of the most bizarre, no-holds-barred, shockingly amusing, party-in-the-form-of-a-movie insanity, long before companies such as Troma and Full Moon made profits off films in a similar (though less satisfying) vein.
Though certainly not for mainstream audiences (esp. for certain reviewers on this page whose main gripe is that the film really isn't a sequel), 'Surf II' has EVERYTHING a B-movie connoisseur lives for: a killer Z-grade cast (Deezen! Buzzi! Palillo!), rockin' tunes (Boingo! Beach Boys! Stray Cats!), zombies, boobies, an irresistibly cheesy 80s aesthetic and a wacked-out Pythonesque sense of humor. Sublimely brilliant and mind-meltingly stupid all at the same time...they just don't make them like this anymore. Can you relate?
Nonstop sub-humor with the most unexpected weird moments. Almost plays like a parody of the 80's teen sexploitation films. Simultaneously jaw-dropping and side-splitting. Maybe better than Joysticks...?
In my soul I knew Surf II:End of the Trilogy would be out of sight! It was great!
Great stupid pointless 80's movie.
Needs to be on DVD!!!
