In this musical comedy, wrestling promoter Ed Hatch is in Kentucky with his dopey, muscle-bound client. When their entourage is stranded on a lonely country rode, a hefty farm girl gets the travelers back on the road, and Ed is inspired to hire the brawny lass as his newest grappler.

It's Bogart in a musical comedy, I think that about says it all. What kind of drugs was Jack Warner on when he thought this movie would be a good idea?
