Guy M @RT64896995 12/02/2022 This is not a documentary really just anecdotal manipulation over Benzodiazepines and ignoring the real issues with them being so frequently prescribed. Some people completely exploit them where others actually benefit from them. This is not a series of scientific data or psychological analysis just anecdotal tales from a few hippies and "holistic" believers and I'm sorry that is just a false narrative. No one on a Benzo is weaker for taking it nor looking for a buzz, just balance. See more Chelsea F @cfrank2992 11/30/2022 Does a very poor job of distinguishing between life-saving SSRIs meant to be taken long-term and spot treatment Benzos that are overprescribed without talk therapy treatment and are abused because, unlike SSRIs, they make you high. They literally--in the middle of a discussion about the dangers of Benzos--have a doctor discussing Zoloft and Paxil. Because the documentary focuses solely on Benzos and fails to discuss how they are distinct from SSRIs, I think this documentary will ultimately have the effect of stigmatizing the use of the kinds of life-saving drugs that are primarily prescribed responsibly and in conjunction with regular talk therapy.
